Great atmosphere, nice service, great cook who still takes time for the guests and great food. Our two children also liked it very much.
MoreThe setting and the restaurant were robust but nice. Unfortunately the food was very salty ... We ordered schnitzel with gravy, but the sauce was already too salty. The people sitting next to me were also a little dissatisfied because of the amount of salt in the meal.
MoreWe were there for coffee. The cakes were homemade and very tasty. The Frisian tea was traditionally served. With teapot and warmer in traditional Frisian place setting.
MoreA great restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. Fast and responsive. Thank you
MoreThose who would like to dine in a friendly atmosphere are in good hands here. Children are very welcome. The dishes are great and there is something for everyone. Lamb is an absolute specialty here
MoreWell-kept restaurant with very nice staff. The food was fantastic. Price-performance ratio is right. We recommend.
MoreWell-kept hotel. Especially praise for the cake selection. Reasonable rooms ... very good working shower. I'm curious how I sleep in this buttery soft bed with down comforter ...... I slept very well and the breakfast was good.
MoreThe good thing first: the food is of good quality and very well prepared. But there is still a lot of room for improvement at reception. The fact that the lady gets along without verbs at all and that you are greeted with "6 pm" in an extremely unfriendly manner is not good for the shop! Hospitality is something else.
MoreThe new owners are warm hosts. Excellent lamb and fish dishes. Jever on tap, what more could you want. We will be back in SPO in November and look forward to dining there again before the company holidays.
MoreSo the food was very, very good and delicious. However, the service was a bit unfriendly and when we entered we were first snapped at that the kitchen would close soon.
MoreSuper delicious food which is why we were there on two evenings (we had two different lamb and two fish dishes + dessert). The clientele is rather older - similar to the establishment - which doesn't detract from the great food. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation in St. Peter!
MoreVery well-kept authentic small country hotel, the rooms are clean and lovingly furnished. The staff is friendly and helpful. A visit and a look at the menu is worthwhile and asks something for every palate. Back after a long hike to the lighthouse or sand bank, you can stop off at the parish inn to fortify yourself with pleasure. Also try the homemade pies! A little tip, Frisian tea with Klutjes and Wölkchen, with the gooseberry meringue cake 😍 (Unfortunately I hadn't taken a photo of it, it was just too delicious and I wanted to enjoy the moment.)
MoreYou can't go wrong with that, good food, super friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. What more do you want !
MoreWe could sit outside and it was very comfortable. There was also shade, which was good in the current weather. We ate cake. The Ostfriesentorte, raspberry cream cheese and the bee sting were delicious. We'll probably do it again.
MoreA little hidden but excellent. The parish inn can really convince with a beautiful terrace and excellent cuisine. Quality and taste are excellent ... the best matj plate I have ever had!
MoreEaten very tasty! Got a place on a spontaneous visit after the dog school, even though we hadn't made a reservation ... and I strongly recommend that! Because word has got around that you can eat very well here! Although the current Kröger has only been at the start since January, he has already made a name for himself in the best sense of the word. The down-to-earth menu with mostly local dishes, good wines and beers is brought to the guest by the chef in honest handwork with fresh ingredients on well-filled plates. And the result knows how to inspire the eyes and the palate. I had the Holstein schnitzel under the crab and fried egg on fried potatoes. A dish that I have certainly eaten a hundred times over here in the north. BUT: the fried potatoes were seldom so well prepared! Finally without half a kilo of burnt bacon and not drowned in fat, no ... crispy, golden brown and delicious! The schnitzel not out of the deep fryer, but fried in the pan until golden (which no one does in many other restaurants). Conclusion: together with the delicious cucumber salad, a good dinner at a fair price. My better half had a lamb ragout on hand-scraped spaetzle with beans, before that a purple sweet potato soup ... there was nothing to complain about either. Tender meat in a delicious, well-seasoned sauce. The nice team should not be left unmentioned, who organize the service quickly and confidently, while the boss sometimes asks at the tables how things are. I am happy to pass on my recommendation here. Certainly it was not the last time that we were guests at the Westerhever parish inn.
MoreVery good cuisine and friendly service. The only thing I complained about for the whole area are the very early closings of the kitchens. Here it was now 8 a.m. This did not affect us, but could have met us. We come from NRW and are not used to these times at all.
MoreThe food was fantastic. We had only visited the restaurant, on a spontaneous stopover. It was absolutely no mistake and the visit is definitely recommended. We would like to come again.
MoreWe ate very well here! The lady who served us on the terrace was super nice and attentive and did her job with obvious pleasure. The food came quickly and was very hot and tasty. We can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.
MoreWere eating in the parish pitcher and are thrilled! Good home-style cooking, very tasty, no hassle and great service, very friendly and funny, we really liked it! We can recommend the inn to everyone who wants to eat well away from the hustle and bustle in Sankt Peter Ording!
